Governance

Yew Chung Community College is governed by a College Governing Council (CGC).

Membership

The Membership of the CGC comprises:

• 2 members of Yew Chung Education Foundation;
• 2 members of Yew Wah International Education Foundation;
• 3 members of the Higher Education community;
• A Finance Expert acting as Treasurer;
• A representative of the Employment sector;
• The President of the College;
• The Registrar of the College;
• 1 member of the Academic staff of the College (elected from among the academic staff);
• 1 or 2 Students of the College (elected by the student body as a whole);

The Secretary of the CGC is the College Secretary.

• Dr Gary L. Morrison: Assistant Director, Yew Chung Education Foundation (YCEF)

• Dr Betty Chan Po-King: Chairperson of Yew Chung Education Foundation Board of Directors, and Director of Yew Chung Education Foundation's Executive Directorate
• Professor Paul Yip Kwok-Wah: Chairman of Xian Jiaotong University's Asia-Europe Institute and Director of Yew Wah International Education Foundation
• Professor Fanny Cheung Mui Ching: Professor of Psychology, Chinese University of Hong Kong
• Professor the Honourable Anthony Cheung Bing Leung: President of Hong Kong Institute of Education
• Dr Agnes Law Koon-Chui, Professor of Sociology and Social Work, Sun Yat-sen (Zhongshan) University, China
• Representative from the Employment Sector: To be appointed
