Grants, Loans and Scholarships to Local and Overseas Students Scheme 2012-13
1) Entrance Grant Scheme
All new students (local or overseas) who satisfy the College’s admission requirements can apply for the ‘ENTRANCE GRANT SCHEME’. Applicants should send in their Application Form together with their School Principal/Headmaster’s Letter of Nomination. Eligible applicants will be invited to attend an Interview. On the basis of a
successful interview, applicants will receive an ‘Entrance Grant’ of 40% of their Tuition Fees for their first year of study at the College
P.N. The Entrance Grant Scheme is provided on the enrolment into the college for the first year only.
2) Yearly Scholarships Scheme
- YCCC Continuous Education Scholarship for Students
Each year, TWO students who obtain the highest GPA with a minimum of 3.2 in our UFD and AD year 1 Programme will receive a YCCC Continous Education Scholarship of HK$5,000 which will be given at the beginning of the following academic year to encourage the students to proceed towards academic excellence at YCCC.
- University Continuous Education Scholarship for Students
Each year, TWO students who obtain the highest GPA with a minimum of 3.2 in our AD Year 2 Programme and who successfully enrol into a University (local or overseas), will receive a University Continuous Education Scholarship amount of HK$5,000.
3) Hong Kong Government Grants and Loans
Eligible Hong Kong residents wishing to study in YCCC may apply to the Hong Kong Government for financial assistance in the form of a means-tested grant and loan or non-means tested loan. The Government offers a
Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-Secondary Students (FASP) and a Non- Means Tested Loan Scheme (NLS).

Note:
- Tuition fee for the 1 year University Foundation Diploma Programme is HK$42,000 per year.
- Tuition fee for the 2-year Associate Degree Programme is HK$47,250 per year.
- All applications (apart from item 3 above), are subject to the final decision made by the college panel.
