Yew Chung Community College (YCCC) welcomes both local and international students from around the world.
Over the last two years we have welcomed students from Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, Australia, Africa and South America, all of whom have come to us because they wanted a sound and successful pathway into a University Bachelor Degree Programme of their choice. In YCCC you will find that instead of being tied to one University, we have articulations and transfer agreements that enable our graduates to enter over 30 Universities and 100 Degree courses around the world. The choice will be yours to make. |

YCCC offers an international learning environment and an Associate Degree Programme leading to an Associate in Arts Degree. This comprises a One-year University Foundation Diploma (UFD) Programme and a Two-year Associate Degree (AD) Programme with three alternative Concentrations: Social Sciences, International Business or Media and Communication. Students may enter at UFD, AD Year 1 or AD Year 2 level.
In YCCC your ability to learn in English will be fully developed. One of our students obtained an IELTS Level 8 after studying our One-year UFD Programme. You will also develop Putonghua and written Chinese or can learn Chinese as a beginner. The College will promote your independent learning and critical thinking abilities and provide you with the foundations in knowledge and skill that you will need to do well in University. You will find that we have very small classes (the target is around 15 students) in which our lecturers are able to support individual learning and to get students to engage in lots of discussion, project work and other purposeful activities. Please take a moment to read what our students say about their learning experience in YCCC by clicking here.
The Programmes that we offer are designed to enable you to OPEN your mind to a range of subject areas, rather than to LIMIT you to one academic or vocational study. You will have ample opportunity to explore what interests you, so that when you graduate and transfer to a University you will be more confident about what you wish to study.
Please have a look at what we have to offer, and contact us with any questions you may have to info@yccc.edu.hk.
