The Yew Chung Community College has been granted accreditation status to offer recognized study programmes at post-secondary level (at Levels 3 and 4 of the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (QF)) by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Professional Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). The College is now undergoing a process to upgrade its accreditation status so it can offer study programmes at tertiary level (Level 5 of HKQF).
Every study programme offered by the College has also been separately accredited by the HKCAAVQ. The College’s awards are recognised under the QF as well as by local/ overseas universities and educational institutions for further study purpose. The College is now applying for accreditation of a new Bachelor Degree Programme in Early Childhood Education.
The College is registered under the Education Ordinance (Cap 279) of the Hong Kong SAR Government (HKSARG). The College is in the process of applying for registration under the Education Ordinance (Cap. 320) of the HKSARG.
